capability
noun
The power or ability to do something.
Example: I want the new Sony DVD player, a Techniques turntable and a radio with long wave capability.
electrical goods
noun phrase
Electrical goods, equipment, or appliances work by means of electricity.
Example: I am writing to ask if you have various electrical goods that I want to buy.
exactly
adverb
Used to emphasize the accuracy of a figure or description.
Example: I have tried shops in my own town, but they don‛t have exactly what I want.
nearby
adjective
Not far away; close.
Example: You would like to buy some electrical goods at a shop in a nearby town.
pick up
verb
Take hold of and lift or move someone or something.
Example: I can come over on Saturday morning to pay you and pick them up.
turntable
noun
A circular revolving plate supporting a record as it is played.
Example: I want the new Sony DVD player, a Techniques turntable and a radio with long wave capability.
various
adjective
Different from one another; of different kinds or sorts.
Example: I am writing to ask if you have various electrical goods that I want to buy.
weekend
noun
Saturday and Sunday, especially regarded as a time for leisure.
Example: I am free this weekend and, if you have them.
